Inclusive Sport Activities
☐ Inclusive Sports is the practice of a sport between people with or without disability under the same rules. It is a right to enjoy sport under equal opportunities.
☐ We are grateful that we have people in our city interested in facilitating the process of social including disadvantaged people/people with disabilities.
☐ The main Foundation in Iași is "Activități Sportive Inclusive" their motto being " We promote sports for visually impaired people, as a way of social inclusion"
☐ One of their recent activities at "Decathlon Iasi", named "Inclusion Sports Activities Marathon", and more than 30 people participated.
The activity in which romanian team participated to: Goalball
☐ We are proud to have been part of this social inclusion activity through sports for the visually impaired, organized by Edi Hilițanu, member of "Activități Sportive Inclusive".
☐ Sport unites us and makes us more tolerant. Through goalball we manage to understand a drop in the life of visually impaired people.
☐ While we learned to be more empathetic, we had a great time during the activity.
